Allied Therapy News for July – Busy as a Bee!

Updated: Sep 6, 2023

This month we have fun bug-themed activities the whole

family can take part in.

The best part is you can support your child’s learning and therapy goals while

also having fun using our suggested games and activities!

Gross Motor Activity

Draw several flowers and a beehive on the sidewalk with chalk. In this game,

pretend you’re a bee trying to get all the flowers. Jump from flower to flower

and pretend to collect all the honey then run back to the beehive.

Fine Motor Activity

On a table, arrange a few pieces of painter’s tape in lines to create a

spiderweb, with the sticky side facing up. Using pompoms as bugs, slide or flick

them to get past the spiderweb without getting stuck. For every bug that gets

past the web, you get a point!
