What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use all aspects of your training to support children and families in a variety of settings-  community, clinic, and virtual.

  • Design individualized care plans that focus on creative, functional solutions.

  • Collaborate with SLPs, OTs, and BCBAs to support complex cases.

  • Participate in weekly professional development and monthly team meetings to share knowledge and stay current.

  • Occasionally provide community education sessions to share best practices and raise awareness.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.

  • Registered and in good standing with the Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulator (NSOTR). 

  • Passion for working with children and families, and a creative approach to therapy.

  • Knowledge of ADHD, sensory processing, and trauma-informed care, with a commitment to ongoing learning.

  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Computer literacy and willingness to use tools like JaneApp. 

  • Clear Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry, and valid driver’s license.

Bonus skills (optional but valued): Fluency in French, Arabic, Cantonese, or other languages to better serve our diverse community.
