Rachel Saunders


Rachel is an Occupational Therapist with Allied Therapy based in Truro. She completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University and is passionate about supporting children and families through collaborative, individualized care.


Rachel is committed to creating a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where clients and families feel comfortable throughout the therapy process. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and working alongside families to support children in developing the skills needed for participation in everyday routines, play, learning, and meaningful daily activities.


Her clinical approach focuses on helping children build confidence, develop functional skills, and navigate developmental challenges through individualized occupational therapy that reflects each child’s unique strengths, goals, and family priorities.


Outside of work, Rachel enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time skating.


Rachel is based in Truro and offers occupational therapy in community settings, in family homes, and virtually across Nova Scotia.
