Katie Scott (she/her)

Katie completed her Master's in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University after earning an undergraduate degree from Mount Allison University. 

As an occupational therapist, Katie is particularly interested in how early childhood experiences and skill building promote overall health and wellbeing into adulthood. She strives to support the whole family when working with individual children, knowing that children (and adults) rely on supportive environments and relationships to thrive. Katie's experience includes working as a mental health clinician so the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviours is always at the forefront of her work with families. 

Originally from Ottawa, Katie is drawn to the Maritimes because of the great outdoor activities and close knit communities. Katie enjoys reading during her alone time and connecting with others through shared meals or physical activity.
