Andrea Chan is an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Acadia University and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University. She brings a strong understanding of child development, health, and family-centered care to her work with children and caregivers.
Andrea has a particular interest in supporting families during the early years, recognizing how important these foundational stages are for development, learning, and participation in everyday life. She takes an individualized, family-centered approach that respects the unique routines, priorities, and goals of each child and caregiver.
Her clinical work focuses on helping children build the skills needed to participate more fully in play, daily routines, and meaningful everyday activities. She values partnering closely with parents, building supportive relationships, and helping families feel confident in supporting their child’s development within natural environments and everyday experiences.
Outside of the clinic, Andrea enjoys making miniature crafts, travelling, and discovering great food wherever she goes.
Andrea is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Andrea is on Maternity Leave until Summer 2027.
